All Non-Medical Home Care companies listed on our site must adhere to the following criteria. The company must…
- Be Located in, and primarily serve, Ventura County (Includes all areas of the Conejo Valley).
- All *Field Staff are employed by the company. (If companies offer both employed as well as Independent Contractor, companies must have a system of providing families with information on both options.)
- All “Full Employment Agencies” are responsible for handling all administrative, tax and payroll obligations as required by the State of California and the Federal Government.
- Provide Worker’s Compensation insurance for all *Field Staff.
- Carry Professional Liability Insurance for all *Field Staff.
- Provide theft protection for clients either through a bond or additional insurance protection.
*Field Staff indicates any representative of the company who provides direct care to clients.
