All Non-Medical Home Care companies listed on our site must adhere to the following criteria. The company must…

1. Be Located in, and primarily serve, Ventura County (Includes all areas of the Conejo Valley).
2. All *Field Staff are employed by the company. (If companies offer both employed as well as Independent Contractor, companies must have a system of providing families with information on both options.)
3. All “Full Employment Agencies” are responsible for handling all administrative, tax and payroll obligations as required by the State of California and the Federal Government.
4. Provide Worker’s Compensation insurance for all *Field Staff.
5. Carry Professional Liability Insurance for all *Field Staff.
6. Provide theft protection for clients either through a bond or additional insurance protection.

*Field Staff indicates any representative of the company who provides direct care to clients.
